How Mercari fees work
Mercari charges a 10% selling fee on the item price plus any shipping the buyer pays, for listings created or updated since January 6, 2025.
There is no separate payment processing fee for sellers any more. Many older calculators still subtract 2.9% + $0.50; that fee is now paid by the buyer, so it isn't included here.
Cashing out with Instant Pay costs $3 per transfer, and frequent cancellations can cost 5% of the item price. Neither is per sale, so they are left out of the comparison.
